What Commercial Safe Services Do We Provide?
Installation, opening, combination changes, lock upgrades, and relocation. We work with cash handling safes (drop safes, depository safes), fire-rated document safes, and heavy vault doors. Brands we service include AMSEC, Gardall, Hollon, and Mesa Safe.
For retail businesses, we install drop safes that let cashiers deposit bills without opening the main compartment. For offices, fire-rated document safes protect records from total loss. According to the National Fire Protection Association, a business fire occurs every 2 minutes in the US.
Can You Open a Commercial Safe We Lost the Combo To?
Yes. Most commercial safes can be opened without drilling. We use combination manipulation, bypass tools, and electronic lock overrides depending on the safe type. Drilling is a last resort and we always discuss it with you first.
Electronic safe locks with dead batteries are the easiest. Most have an external battery terminal. We carry 9V batteries and override cables for major brands. Takes about 10 minutes.

$100-$200 for standard safes. $200-$350 for high-security safes that require specialized tools. Electronic safes with dead batteries run $95-$125 (usually just a battery swap).
Do you bolt safes to the floor?
Always. An unbolted safe can be wheeled out on a dolly by two people. We anchor into concrete using 3/8-inch wedge bolts. Included in our installation price.
Can you upgrade our safe lock from combination to electronic?
Yes, if the safe door accepts a standard lock mount (most do). We swap the mechanical dial for a digital keypad. Cost runs $200-$400 for the lock and installation.
Do you move safes?
Yes. We have equipment to move safes up to 1,000 lbs. Heavier safes may require a rigging crew, which we can coordinate. Call us with the safe dimensions and weight for a quote.
